Stephan Arndt, PhD, Editor-in-Chief

Currently Director of the Iowa Consortium for Substance Abuse Research and Evaluation. Additionally, Dr Arndt is Professor of Psychiatry, College of Medicine, and Professor of Biostatistics, College of Public Health at the University of Iowa.

Dr Arndt completed a PhD in psychology at the Claremont Graduate School, California before going on to do a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles, specializing in biostatistics. His key research interests include biobehavioral statistics and epidemiological statistical applications for policy makers and clinical practice. He has published over 250 scientific papers.

In 1993, Dr Arndt was awarded The Nelson Urban Research in Mental Health Award, by the Iowa Mental Health Association.

Dr. Mariana Cremonte is a Professor in the Psychology Department, at the National University of Mar del Plata and a researcher for the National Scientific and Technical Research Council, Argentina. Her research interests include the role of alcohol on injuries, as well as screening, diagnosis, and early intervention.
